Wanted to see Saint Michael popular places and this apartment was good base for exploring most of them. All in all everything was superb, as a bonus I received wake up calls free of charge. There was a comfy bed, fine bathroom. Had a bath. I really enjoyed the breakfast, it was fresh made.
Nothing that i didnt like, thank you.

I had an amazing stay at a cozy, comfortable home in a great location. The host was incredibly helpful, providing valuable information about the island and making sure I had everything I needed. Although the walk to the beach was a bit longer than expected, it was definitely worth it as Brandon's Beach turned out to be my favorite. The only minor drawback was the firm pillows, but they quickly addressed it and changed them for my comfort. I highly recommend this place for a delightful home away from home experience.

The host was really helpful and provided great information about the city and how to get around. The location of the hotel was convenient, not too far from the city center but still on the outskirts for easy access to other parts of the island.
The pillows were really firm, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. , the lack of blackout curtains made it difficult to sleep in due to the heat and brightness in the room.

Virginia was an absolutely amazing host, going above and beyond to make our stay incredible. She not only provided valuable information on the most economical way to get to the airport, but also personally drove us to the nearest bus stop. While breakfast was not included, the breathtaking view from the balcony made up for it, especially when enjoyed with morning coffee. Virginia even let us check if our cruise ship was in port! The area itself was quiet and peaceful, with a stunning view of the cruise ship port area from the hill. Virginia's helpfulness, cleanliness, and attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable.

The communication before arrival was mind-blowing, with plenty of useful information provided. The owner, Virginia, managed all expectations in an excellent way. The spacious apartment had a good room with jaw-dropping views from the terrace. The well-equipped kitchen was a super bonus. Virginia was like our own mother, staying in touch even after our stay. The location was safe and local, with easy access to bus routes and fantastic rum shacks and local food options. Virginia, the host, was simply awesome, providing all the information needed to explore the island. The accommodation was simple but had everything one needs, including an off-site car park, electric kettle, cookware/ kitchen utensils, shared kitchen, and a flat-screen TV. The laundry facilities were a convenience. It was great that it was an adults-only property with a lovely outdoor dining area. No pets allowed and no smoking on site, which was perfect. You cannot go wrong with this amazing place!

Virginia, the owner, was a delight to communicate with before and after our trip. She was hospitable, charming, and made us feel incredibly comfortable during our stay. the house itself had everything we needed to feel at home. Virginia even went out of her way to provide useful tips, like the most economical way to get to the airport. We also appreciated her driving us to the nearest bus stop on the day we flew out. But the best part was the stunning view from the balcony, where we enjoyed our morning coffee. I highly recommend A Home Away From Home and will definitely visit again when I'm in Barbados. Cons: Couldn't fault. 👌.

For the price we paid, our stay at this hotel was a steal! The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great, not far from Bridgetown, making it easy for us to explore the whole island without any hassle. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible hospitality of the host, Virginia. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience, providing us with helpful information about the island and even driving us to the nearest bus stop on our way to the airport. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
The morning meal could have been better with some additional variety.

I had an absolutely mind-blowing time at this place! The true Bajan experience was jaw-dropping - so down to Earth, friendly, and relaxing. The view from the hill was super gorgeous, overlooking the cruise ship port area. Miss Virginia, the landlord, was an absolute star. She was incredibly helpful with directions and any information I needed. Being the only guest at the time, I had the whole house to myself, which was fantastic. The location was perfect, with easy access to bus routes. The area felt local and safe, a refreshing change from touristy resorts. I loved exploring the local rum shacks and food outlets that the locals frequented. The home itself was like a dream come true - it had everything I needed to feel at home, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy flat-screen TV. The laundry facilities were a great convenience. I highly recommend this place to both solo travelers and families. The owner is an absolute gem, kind-hearted and warm. Also, don't forget the nearby supermarket and the easy access to tourist attractions like Harrison Caves. This place is a winner!
